Vardy Scores again for England against Holland… With no boots on

Unless you’ve been living on Mars, you will know that Jamie Vardy’s having a party, and it has lasted pretty much all season long. His heroics this season are nothing short of miraculous, but now the Leicester man really has produced a miracle during England’s 2-1 defeat to Holland on Tuesday night.

England failed to replicate their immensely impressive performance away in Germany, as Holland came back from 1-0 down with two second-half goals at Wembley. It was the last match before Roy Hodgson announces his squad for the European Championships this summer, and Jamie Vardy put his name thoroughly in the hat.

After some great build-up play involving Kyle Walker and Adam Lallana, Jamie Vardy was there to fire home from close range to bag his second goal for his country. Not too shocking. But it seemed that something was wrong for the entire match… The striker wasn’t even wearing any boots!

Okay, well not exactly. But Vardy sported a pair of camouflage Nike Hypervenom Phantom II boots for the game, so you can forgive us for not noticing! He debuted them during training a couple of days ago and decided they were ready to show the world.

It is no wonder Vardy has scored, wearing these top-of-the-range models. These Hypervenoms have a rigid surface on the front of the boot, where the ball is typically struck. This helps all you strikers out there to properly connect with your strikes and give them the finesse to fly past keepers.

The Flywire technology enables the boot to fit perfectly without sliding or irritation. The ankle collar on these Hypervenoms also adds to the comfort. With thick, but not too heavy, material also being used for this model, it gives you protection and adds a dynamic feel to your foot.

Edison Cavani, Robert Lewandowski and even Brazilian star Neymar sports the impressive Nike Hypervenom II boots… So it’s clearly one for the strikers. But with the beauty and advanced technology of the boot, you could absolutely be forgiven in wanting to buy a pair regardless of your position. They’re one of those which need to be tried to be believed, they will make a noticeable difference to your game.

It may be a bold shout, but these could be the best football boots of 2016 so far, and they are definitely the best football boots for strikers at the moment.

So for just £150, which for top-end (new) football boots really isn’t too shabby, you too could be having your own party.
